<p></p><p>Colheitas are dated Tawnies aged in small casks. The minimum age requirement is 7 years, but the tradition at Niepoort is to age several more years before bottling. The wine takes on a Tawny hue. Wood and nutty tones are evident on the palate due to the wine’s slow ageing in old casks. Colheita goes well with dry fruits desserts and the portuguese "Leite Creme queimado". As a starter, the combination with foie gras is impressive</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta Vale d' Aldeia Vintage 2020 Port Wine was produced from a rigorous selection of the best traditional Douro grape varieties. Made by using the Traditional Port Wine winemaking method where fermetion is stopped by the addition of wine spirit. Wine of exceptional characteristics with a deep purple color, with aromas of black berries, notes of plum and dark chocolate. In the mouth has a great volume and good acidity with a long and persistant finish.</p> <p>Ageing 2 years in old oak barrels.</p>

The grapes for the port (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and Tinto Cão) come from the old vines, which were on the quinta’s vineyards, when the present owner took over the quinta</span></p>
