<p></p><p>Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.</p>

<p></p><p>Niepoort Moscatel 20 Years Old is one of the few Douro Moscatels available on the market in this category. The masterful handling of the different wines that make up the blend as well as the long ageing period makes this a serious and complex world-class wine.</p> <p>Its extraordinarily complex nose marries aromas of apricots, lemons, almonds and other nuts with marzipan and curry spices. The palate is endlessly long: an almost piquant texture, beautiful structure and pleasant acidity provide an element of elegance for which the Niepoort house is so well-known.</p>
<p></p><p>Horácio Simões Moscatel Licoroso Castelão Heritage is the result of intense work split between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was monitored and pampered throughout so that yields did not exceed 1500 litres/ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the ideal state of health and ripeness. At the winery, a ‘special’ vinification process was devised for this product, different from what was usual in other companies in the region.</p> <p>As an accompaniment to a good dessert served at a temperature of 14ºC. </p>
<p></p><p>Niepoort Moscatel 5 Years Old is characterized by its unmistakable muscat nose with floral and citrus notes and a complex mouthfeel with complexity in the mouth with notes of nuts, spices and honey. The Niepoort signature is in the mouth: an excellent structure, high acidity and a long finish, which highlights the delicate and fresh character</p>
