Carcavelos' wine ran the world. It entered the most varied cultures. It has even given part of its 'soul' to Port wine in order to give it a 'body' and a superior taste. From this fertile and auspicious period, it fell to levels that without the intervention of the municipality was expected to cease to exist.

It took hold and recovered and today, the vineyard continues to produce, on the hillside facing the Tejo, in the land that has always been fertile, shaken by the wind that is typical of us, the grape varieties. In the white, Galego Dourado, the Ratinho, the Arinto, the Rabo-de-Ovelha and the Seara-Nova; in the red, the perfect combination between the castes Castelão, Amostrinha and Trincadeira. Grapes that mixed in the exact measure, like alchemy, gives origin to our generous.
