<p></p><p>Quinta de Pancas is located 45 kilometers northwest of Lisbon, at Santo Estevão and Triana parish, the so-called "Alto Concelho de Alenquer" next to the place of Pancas. The lands of Alenquer extend between the Serra de Montejunto and the flatlands of the right bank of the Tagus river, unfolding in a landscape of mountains, hills, valleys and plains</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Nogueira vineyards are in clayey soils, with a natural freshness and salinity, without irrigation, uniques, marked by the influence of a natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo (“All-the-World Mountain”) and by the proximity to the Atlantic sea, which is 20 km away. In the approximately 20 hectares of vineyards at Quinta do Porto Nogueira - with DOC Óbidos classification - each parcel of vineyard is treated and valued as unique and different, and all them wines are produced with the pleasure and well-being of those who enjoy them.</p> <p>Currently, Quinta do Porto Nogueira vineyards are conducted in Biological Production mode.</p>
<p></p><p>Adega Mãe Castelão Red Wine presents red-coloured wine with medium depth; smooth aroma, average intensity, still showing signs of its youth; primary of the red fruit, a dash of spices and a discrete presence of wood which adds up to a rich aromatic profile. Sound freshness on the palate, with soft, unobtrusive tannins enveloped in ripe fruit. Full in the mouth, it delivers a well-balance finish.</p> <p>Is ideal with cheeses, lamb and goatling stews.</p> <p></p> <p></p>
