<p></p><p>Casa Ermelinda freitas is a wine brand recognized by the world for its magnificent wines. From its very beginnings, made the quality of its vineyards and wines a top priority. When the company first started, wines were produced and sold wholesale and unbranded. It was the current management that decided to take on the challenge that is involved in creating an own brand wine. 1997 was the year of the company's new beginning in wine making, with red wine "Terras do Po tinto", being the first to be produced and bottled on the premises of the Ermelinda Freitas winery</p> <p> </p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>In 1917, Lago Cerqueira founds the Caves of Calçada with the construction of a cellar in the House. Casa da Calçada, moreover, had long produced wines, and had a crown that proved it: that which is today the oldest vineyard in the region.</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Through a team of winegrowers who accompany the development of their vineyards, always striving to improve their quality and obtain year after year the best results of the vintage house, Lusovini has a clear choice: to make wines with a traditional profile, with international vocation to accompany food, whatever geography it may be</p>
<p></p><p>The wine production in this place dates back at least to the 18th century. But it was in 2003 that there was the rebirth of the current Quinta dos Abibes whose terroir is already an inescapable symbol of Bairrada</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The Primavera Caves were founded in 1944 by the brothers Vital and Lucénio Rodrigues de Almeida. From small and totally manual installations, the company now has a covered area of 10,000 m2, with technologically advanced equipment.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Ameal is a small, very old property (1710) of rare natural beauty. Here, white wines of excellence are made and produced from a Portuguese grape variety called Loureiro. This reaches its highest aromatic and gustatory expression in this fantastic Valley of Lima where they are located</p>
