The Miogo brand has its origins in Quinta do Miogo in Guimarães. The dominion of Miogo was shared by several generations and owners and in 1755 Domingos Guimarães was granted a coat of arms attesting to his nobility as a nobleman with axes and olive trees. This coat of arms is a symbol of the Vinho Verde Sparkling Miogo, which was born in 1999 to exalt the nobility of the region's best grapes
