Quinta do Poço do Lobo Baga Pinot Noir Rosé is a sophisticated and vibrant sparkling wine from the Bairrada region of Portugal, produced by Caves São João. This sparkling wine stands out for its quality and the harmonious blend of grape varieties, resulting in a wine with great complexity and freshness. It is crafted from a blend of the indigenous Baga and international Pinot Noir grapes, grown at Quinta do Poço do Lobo. Produced using the Traditional Method, the second fermentation occurs in the bottle, yielding a creamy mousse and fine, persistent bubbles.
When tasting Quinta do Poço do Lobo Baga Pinot Noir Rosé expect a defined pink color, sometimes with onion skin or very pale partridge eye hues. The aroma is very fine and complex, with notes of tart red fruits (raspberry, sour cherry), buttery, evident toasted notes, and beeswax, among other rich and complex aromatic nuances. On the palate, it offers great gustatory complexity, a very fresh attack, and excellent texture. The mousse is creamy, and the vibrant acidity results in a very pleasant, balanced flavor with good persistence, culminating in a complete and complex finish. This elegant and fresh sparkling wine is highly versatile for food pairing, ideal with canapés, seafood, grilled fish, white meats, fresh salads, and sushi.
