The combination of very hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters results in low yields but with high quality grapes.<br />The products sold from Quinta da Deserta are certified.</p>

He was co-founder of two companies where he created brands such as Castello d'Alba, Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas, Andreza, Maria Papoila, among others. He started his personal project with the brand Cara a Cara. He also works as a consultant for wineries in the Verdes, Douro, Alentejo and Algarve.</p>
