Niepoort Nat Cool Voyeur Mulato 2021 Red Wine (1l)

Voyeur is a wine fermented and macerated in clay vats of 1000 litres during several months. In each talha ferment and macerate an old vine from a different place in the Douro. Here the grape varieties are a secondary factor, giving importance to the complexity of the blend, including the white varieties. Vines between 40 and 50 years old, from high areas, with a fresher profile so that they can macerate for months without losing their character.

The colour is open, light and lively. On the nose it has a fresh profile, with notes of aromatic herbs and red berries. In the mouth it is round, light and fresh with good acidity. It finishes almost spicy and with a light astringency that gives it personality.  This is a versatile and uncomplicated red wine. An excellent pairing for those who like sushi but prefer reds!
