Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.
The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro

<p></p><p>In Zambujeira do Mar, where the high temperatures of the Alentejo are mitigated by the Atlantic, the concentration typical of inland viticulture is balanced by the freshness and humidity of the sea, leading to ideal maturation. <p>For more than 20 years, the name João Portugal Ramos has been associated with Portuguese wines, first as a consulting winemaker for well known brands of wine and since 1992 as a bottling producer.</p> <p>The success and the prizes accumulated throughout his career have earned him the national and international recognition as one of the main responsible for the evolution of the Portuguese wines in the last decade.</p> <p>The Alentejo was the region chosen to produce its first wines. In 1990, João Portugal Ramos planted the first five hectares of vineyard in Estremoz, where he has lived since 1988, starting his personal project. It expanded its activity beyond the Alentejo from 1989, reaching Ribatejo, Beiras, Douro and Vinho Verde</p>
<p></p><p>Secret Spot is a project by Gonçalo Sousa Lopes and Rui Cunha that aims to produce wines from a single vineyard that has the potential to originate a wine of unique qualities.</p>
<p></p><p>Landcraft Moscatel White Wine</p> <p>The grapes, from a vineyard on clay-schist soil, were harvested on 15 August, which is essential for preserving the pure aromatic expression of this grape variety, while retaining all the freshness and acidity, giving it the seriousness and nobility that are often lacking in wines of this profile. The entire winemaking process respected the expression of the plot as much as possible: pre-fermentation maceration for 12 hours, spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts, the wine aged on its lees until bottling for 9 months. Less and better intervention to achieve maximum expression!</p>

<p></p><p>Beija-Flor O Encanto is a wine that expresses the vineyard, the place and the region from which it comes - vineyards at around 600 metres above sea level, on mica schist soils, and over 80 years old.</p> <p>Beija-Flor reveals intense, deep minerality. Complex in aroma, with excellent notes of toast from the barrel and fine herbs perfectly integrated into the citrus and slightly floral profile. With a lot of presence in the mouth, it is very fine and delicate with notes of white fruit and some spices</p>
