<p></p><p>The history of the 100HECTARES wines begins in the early 70’s.</p> <p>The estates of the family are the origin of their wines, and the production is made exclusively from grapes coming from their properties, which is at the heart of the family’s production philosophy</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Plansel are situated about 100km from Lisbon, in the southeastern part of the city of Montemor-o-Novo. They have around 75 hectares of vineyards that are an integral part of the DOC area of Évora</p>
<p><span>Quinta da Fronteira is located in the deep valley of the Upper Douro river, in the International Douro Natural Park, in the Douro Superior sub-region. Founded by Guerra Junqueiro, famous writer of the 19th century, the property consists of two vineyards (one located in Barca D'Alva and the other in Freixo de Espada à Cinta).</span></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Adega Cooperativa de Monção is the producer of muralhas. The "Adega Cooperativa Regional de Mono" , CRL , was founded on 11 October 1958, with the initiative of 25 winemakers. Located in full demarcated region of Vinho Verde, the sub-region of Mono and Melga , this region was recognized the exclusive use of the designation " Vinho Verde Alvarinho".</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta dos Frades is one of the most beautiful and emblematic properties of the Douro Vinhateiro. Its records date back to the year 1256, when it was donated to the monastery of Santa Maria de Salzedas</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta das Arcas has around 50ha, 35ha of vineyards stand out, around 30 years old, where under the influence of a very particular micro-climate grapes of high quality of the Loureiro, Trajadura and Arinto grapes are obtained</p>
<p></p><p>Duorum O Leucura Red Wine presents deep red color. Very intense and complex aroma dominated by ripe black fruits, blackberries, cassis, floral aromas of violet and some spicy notes that result from “elevage” in the barrels. Also, noticeable aromas of evolution in the bottle, all contributing to further complexity. Dense, concentrated wine with well-balanced acidity, firm and well-integrated ripe tannins, and a range of sensations of richness and strength. These characteristics together with intensive retronasal aroma, gives it a long and persistent finish. A wine for ageing.</p>
<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p>

Complex and intense aroma, where ripe black fruits stand out together with balsamic aromas and spicy notes from the barrel ageing. On the palate it is firm and concentrated, with balanced acidity and ripe tannins that are well involved in its body and volume. The finish is long and persistent. With a common origin in the Beira interior, share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, there continuing to credit and bet heavily on a territory that they consider unique. They are wines with a very fresh and mineral character, with exuberant acidity but above all are wines with soul and proof that with good wines you can make good friends!</span></p>
