Intense ruby color, with excellent aromatic complexity in which the wild fruits of the Douro are mixed with the stems in harmony with notes of toast and chocolate. Structured and dense but very elegant, ripe tannins and a velvety finish

Pelicular maceration and alcoholic fermentation with temperature control in stainless steel tanks. Post-fermentative maceration followed by malolactic fermentation

Dark cherry, dusky blackberry, smoky cedar, licorice, and earthy crushed stone aromas. Blackberry, tart spicy plum preserves, and rich oak flavors. Full body, rich grippy wooly tannins, medium plus acidity, and a lingering tart dark fruit and oak finish. Hefty, intense, tannic. I'll revisit this one in a few years.</span></p> <p></p> <p></p>
