<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. <p></p><p>Cooperativa Agrícola do Távora CRL is located in the "Távora - Varosa" Demarcated Region, between the Douro and Dão regions.</p> <p>Given its unique conditions - granite soils, primary and poor in limestone, high altitudes, continental temperate climate, among others - makes it a privileged place in the production of apple and wine.</p> <p></p>

A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and in Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The brand Boina groups the wines without wood of the Douro.</span></p>

<p></p><p>It all began in 1918 when on 15 August, a few months before the Armistice, Manoel Domingues Poças Júnior, born in the heart of the Port Wine hustle and bustle, decided to establish his own company.<br />With his uncle, he created a company to sell grape spirits to large Port Wine shippers. Soon afterwards he opened the head offices in Vila Nova de Gaia, where they remain to this date.<br />Today, with three quintas in the best winemaking areas of the Douro Demarcated Region, Poças ensures its total control over the quality of its wines and the family is more involved than ever before</p>
