Herédias 2023 Rosé Wine

Herédias Rosé Wine presents salmon coloured with rosed nuances, this wine is high lighted by its fresh and intense aroma of raspberry, red currant and earl grey. On the palate we find a complex attack, with notes of plum and orange peel. With a saline and persistent finish, coupled with a crunchy acidity, we find a striking and well balanced rosé.

Doda red wine displays a sumptuous ruby colour and, for a vintage as balanced as 2012, offers floral aromas, dark berries, deep complexity and some body. The wood is well-integrated in the delicate mineral character of the wine. On the palate, it shows intense concentration, with firm tannins and great structure. Its minerality and superb acidity lend the wine freshness and balance, with a very long and vivacious finish its the power of the Douro and the elegance of the D in perfect harmony

Textura Wines is an organic viticulture project established in 2018 in the Dão region of Portugal. The project focuses on producing wines that express the specific terroir of the slopes of the Serra da Estrela.

The production is primarily divided into two sub-regions of Dão:

Gouveia (Serra da Estrela), where vineyards with granite soils and higher altitudes are found. These conditions give rise to wines with high acidity and a mineral profile, such as the Textura da Estrela range.

Penalva do Castelo (Terras de Azurara) is a transitional soil area where the Vinha Encoberta and the project's winery are located. The winery is a converted former textile industry.

The wines are crafted using indigenous grape varieties from the region (such as Encruzado and Bical for whites, and Jaen, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, or Tinta Pinheira for reds), employing a philosophy of minimal intervention in the winery.
