Cara a Cara is Joao Silva e Sousa's personal vinic project.
Great-grandson, great-grandson and grandson of wine producers in the Dão region, João Silva e Sousa began working in wineries and in his grandfather's vineyards at the age of 15. As a winemaker, he has worked in various internationally renowned houses. He was co-founder of two companies where he created brands such as Castello d'Alba, Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas, Andreza, Maria Papoila, among others. He started his personal project with the brand Cara a Cara. He also works as a consultant for wineries in the Verdes, Douro, Alentejo and Algarve.
