<p>Quinta da Nogueira vineyards are in clayey soils, with a natural freshness and salinity, without irrigation, uniques, marked by the influence of a natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo (“All-the-World Mountain”) and by the proximity to the Atlantic sea, which is 20 km away. <p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>
