White wine from Quinta da Giesta produced in the region of Dão
The Agricultural Society Boas Quintas was born, in 1991, in the recognized region of Dão. It all began when Nuno Cancela de Abreu, the representative of the 4th generation of a family with an agricultural and wine tradition of more than 130 years, made the decision to dedicate all his experience and knowledge in viticulture and oenology to the service of an own project that allowed him to create wines of high quality, character and personality

Inserted in a unique landscape, which holds us by the way nature manifests itself. In Freixo de Espada à Cinta, land of myths and legends, is where the Douro River meets the wine, this is where the Douro begins. This beauty is naturally reflected in the Montes Ermos wines

Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana reveals concentrated nose, with intense floral notes. Good structure, balanced with well defined tannins. Good gastronomic properties.

A great white wine from Dão region

Produced by Quinta de Lemos

Quinta da Lomba White Wine not only embodies everything that the Dão region’s grape varieties have to offer but also the splendour of its hundred-year-old vines.

The palate impresses with its elegance, firm structure, and saline, spicy profile. The wine’s acidity points to the vineyard’s granite soils and lends the wine freshness as well as a lingering, complex finish. This is a very serious and unique white wine which will mature beautifully in the bottle and should be enjoyed out of Burgundy-style wine glasses

The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda
