List of products by brand Soc. Agrícola Boas Quintas, Lda.
The Agricultural Society Boas Quintas was born, in 1991, in the recognized region of Dão.
It all began when Nuno Cancela de Abreu, the representative of the 4th generation of a family with an agricultural and wine tradition of over 130 years, made the decision to dedicate all his experience and knowledge in viticulture and oenology to the service of an own project that allowed him to create wines of high quality, character and personality.
Due to the good reception by the critics and also to the contribution of the prizes won since 1998, the company reoriented its strategy, surpassing its original family character. Thus, in 2010, Boas Quintas witnessed the extension of its area of operation to other regions. From now on, it has been affirmed as a multi-regional project combining, among others, three large farms: "Quinta of the Gold Fountain "and" Quinta da Giesta ", in the Dão region and" Herdade de Gambia ", in the Peninsula region of Setúbal.
With the expansion of production, in a perspective of growth and diversification, it evolves to an ambitious project, with a portfolio of wines covering the Dão, Bucelas, Setúbal Peninsula, Alentejo, Porto and Douro regions, showing a strong vocation for export.
With the plurality of wine regions, the philosophy of Boas Quintas is based on diversity and, for this reason, maintains that each of its wines carries its own nature and identity.
Nuno Cancela de Abreu was recognized as "Winemaker of the Year 2016" by Aníbal Coutinho and Boas Quintas was awarded the "Company of the Year 2016" award by Revista de Vinhos.
