<p></p><p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>

<p></p><p>M.O.B. Garrafeira is a wine that perfectly encapsulates the tradition and distinctive character of the Dão. Made from old vines and benefiting from prolonged ageing, this red reveals an impressive harmony between depth, freshness and elegance.</p> <p>On the nose, it has a youthful yet complex and sophisticated aroma. Notes of noble spices from the barrel ageing stand out, surrounded by layers of ripe fruit and mineral ‘nuances’, with an intriguing hint of hot iron.</p> <p>On the palate, the aromatic promise is confirmed: the structure is full and creamy, supported by vibrant acidity and dense but very well integrated tannins.
