Quinta da Alameda Red Wine reflects the tradition, history and origin of the wines from Quinta da Alameda de Santar. Prolonged aging in French oak barrels (400 liters) and two years in the bottle brings out the personality, strength and elegance of a wine that is here to stay. With aromas of intense fruit, light vanilla and spices, the palate reveals a marked acidity, reminiscent of the granite soil and the freshness of the forest surrounding the vineyard.

It's fruity, with notes of red fruit, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries, a light floral touch, very complex, transmitted by the diversity of the old vines. The wood is subtle, making the wine sweet, very delicate and with the robustness and tenacity of a great Dão wine.  Dão. Intense on the palate, very long and with well  tannins. This wine has a balance that leaves you  take mouthful after mouthful without tiring the palate
