Given its unique conditions - granite soils, primary and limestone poor, high altitudes, temperate continental climate, among others - makes it a privileged place in the production of apple and wine. The climate / soil binomial make this region the most appropriate, at a national level, for apple production, from which stands out the much appreciated "Bravo de Esmolfe" variety.
With regard to white wines, the natural acidity, the intense aroma and the citrus character, bright and fresh, create a special highlight, in order to be able to affirm that it is the region par excellence where white wine has unique conditions to rise to the highest level of quality.
