VINILOURENÇO is based in the Upper Douro, in Poço do Canto village near the City of Meda.

It was created with the mission of transforming and revitalizing the production of the vineyards that began to be planted in the 80's by Horacio Lourenço, after returning from Angola. His wine passion led him to develop his heritage. To the 45 existing Hectares, the concept of "Quinta" does not apply due to its different locations, Poço do Canto, Vale da Teja and Pocinho. The soils are of Schist in the lower zones and Schist / Granite in the zones higher. The differences in climate, location, altitude and soil, allied to the same vine varieties planted in different territories, allow the creation of distinct wines avoiding the common standardization. From 2006 Jorge Lourenço creates the VINILOUREÇO with the precious help of his father Horacio Lourenço.
