The Adega do Calisto is a family business located in the heart of Alentejo - Reguengos de Monsaraz.

Located in the northern part of the town of Reguengos de Monsaraz, Quinta da Várzea was planted with centuries-old vineyards when it was acquired by the Calisto family in the early 80's of last century.
Founded in 2004, it works only the grapes harvested in its 32-35 ha of vineyards, 20 of which are in Reguengos de Monsaraz and the rest in the parish of Caridade (Reguengos de Monsaraz).
The winery is located in a privileged place with panoramic views over the vineyards of the farm and surrounding landscape where they stand out:
- to the south, the city of Reguengos de Monsaraz;
- to the East, the medieval village of Monsaraz and the largest pottery center of Portugal - S. Pedro do Corval;
- to the Southeast, the immense lake of Alqueva;
- to the north, the Perdigões archaeological complex.
