Sovibor - Sociedade de Vinhos de Borba, Lda was founded in 1968 from the merger of two small yet highly experienced wine producers.
The vineyards, located in theBorba sub-region, sum 200 hectares and are planted with Castelão, Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet for reds, and Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Tamarez for whites.
Wines are marketed under the labels Sovibor (a PDO wine),Adega do Passo, Valflor and Mirabom.
