Rarely a good wine is the result of chance. The experience I have acquired over time as an oenologist leads me to believe that a wine reflects the nature of the land that saw it born and is the expression of who produces it.
Knowledge, experience and technology allow us to rigorously perfect the various factors that influence the personality of a wine. Shaping our country's natural potential in this area, creating and reinventing each wine, is a passion for me. It is this passion that I have the pleasure to present to you here and to share with you in every wine I make. "

        <p></p><p>Vinha do Lado Red Wine presents intense colour, with aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla. On the palate it has good acidity, soft but firm tannins and a long finish.</p> <p>The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected at the hand-picking table. After crushing, they are trodden in marble presses using the traditional foot treading method.  Transfer to stainless steel vats where the alcoholic fermentation finishes. This is followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration.</p>
