Wine Ventures is a company with its operational base located in Lisbon – at Quinta da Romeira - which mission is to develop Brands, based on consumer preferences, with a commitment to take wine, as a category, closer to consumers, creating value to shareholders.

Enology is lead by Manuel Pires da Silva which had a long career at Quinta do Minho where he still is a minor shareholder. He was founder of Univin - a joint venture with Unicer the wine division within that Company.

To his more than 30 years experience we added Maria Godinho, also winemaker, bringing youth and creativity to the group. We also have the collaboration of Manuel Vieira, a very well known winemaker bringing his know how to our top of the range wines. Manuel Vieira started his career at Casa Ferreirinha, (acquired by Sogrape), where he stayed for 26 years.
