Founded in 1955, Adega de Borba was the first in a series of wineries set up in the Alentejo.

Today, Adega de Borba brings together 300 associated winegrowers who cultivate about 2,000 hectares of vineyards, distributing 70% of red varieties and 30% of white varieties.
Always seeking to enhance the quality of its products, the Adega de Borba has an ambitious project of approaching the winegrower to the winery, instituting in this the passion to make great wines. After the selection and maintenance of the best vine varieties and technological equipment, it is the conviction of Adega Borba that only with the wine grower's full involvement in the production of wine can it improve its products even further and thus realize all the potential that the region has for the production of exceptional wines.
