Three whites, three monoclasts and a trio of Monólogos (Monologues) from the producer of Vinhos Verdes A & D Wines.
The Arinto, Avesso and Chardonnay grape varieties come from the Baião sub-region and from sustainable agricultural practices.
"Each Monólogo wine presents a distinctive profile of its own characteristics and identities, having in common the intense and fruity aroma and the living acidity, resulting in rich and complex wines."
This trio of Monólogo are table wines, expressing their character in harmony with the food.
"Is a fresh, aromatic wine with an excellent structure. This white is characterized for being very citrine, with the very evident caste, leaf and flower of lime tree, lime and lemon. The arinto is elegant, full of flavor and presence. In the mouth, it has a vibrant but balanced acidity and leaves a fresh and pleasant finish. "
"Offers a great aromatic expression and elegance. The caste is well evident in the aroma and flavor, tropical notes of ripe pear and fragrant peach. When you taste this white wine, it will prove that it is dense and creamy, full-bodied, in a fat and opulent style with acidity q.b. Its end is perfect, smooth and engaging. "
"Is a round and full-bodied wine. At the aroma level, this crop refers to fruits of white pulp and exhibits some minerality. It has a good volume of mouth, balanced, soft, leaving at the end a fruity and persistent aroma ".
Using sustainable farming practices and minimum intervention techniques in wine cellars, they produce excellent green wines that reveal their origins, ensuring the health of the soil and the environment.
Quinta de Santa Teresa
Unique property for the excellent combination of features it presents. A contiguous and walled area of 33 ha of vineyard in the Vinhos Verdes region, more precisely on the border of the Baião sub-region bordering the Douro region, structured on terraces supported by granite walls and served by sidewalk pavements, are characteristics of excellence and unique to wine production in this region.
The existing old cellar tells the story of a large wine estate despite the need for total recovery and rehabilitation. To meet this need was in 2015 the property with a temporary winery, constituting the current winemaking center of A & D Wines. They have in Quinta de Santa Teresa several buildings of significant architectural value, from the main house to several smaller houses, both housing and support to agricultural activity. Distributed throughout the property are arranged gardens, lakes, tennis court, swimming pool and woodland that present us with numerous pleasant spaces and nooks of great beauty.
There are produced the reverse varieties, arinto, alvarinho and malvasia for the whites and national touriga and vineyard for the production of rosé. The vineyard is composed of plots restructured about 10 years old and other plots of old vineyards.
