Casa de Santar Reserva Branco 2015 has just been honored in the 2018 edition of the Sakura Women's Japanese Awards in Japan with the Grand Prix in the category "Best Wine for Tempura" by winning a Diamond Trophy.
The white Reserva da Casa de Santar, one of the reference wines of the Dão Demarcated Region, won the judges, who considered it perfect for harmonizing with Tempura, a dish that although it has Portuguese roots, was popularized by Japan. fried pieces of vegetables or shellfish, wrapped in a thin, fried chicken, frying, for only two or three minutes, in very hot oil.
