<p></p><p>Quinta do Mouro is located at the gates of the city of Estremoz, and belonged for centuries to the Zagalos family, one of the wealthiest in town. This original "quinta" in Alentejo, where the vast estates dominate, has an 18th century grooved house, charming gardens, bowls and 18th century tanks. In 1979, at the age of 26, luck dictated Miguel Louro's fate at a poker table, among friends, when he had the dilemma of buying a Porsche or Quinta do Mouro. <p>Herdade Aldeia de Cima Garrafeira White is an Alentejo wine of exceptional complexity and elegance, made from the Antão Vaz, Arinto and Alvarinho grape varieties. This wine is consistently recognised with high scores by critics, such as 94 points in Revista de Vinhos, 19 points in Vinho Grandes Escolhas and 93 points from the Wine Advocate, consolidating its status as a wine of great quality. On the nose, it stands out for its ripe fruit, orange blossom and subtle notes of wood (smoked, honey, butter), while on the palate it is remarkably concentrated, elegant and fresh, with perfect acidity and a long finish, the result of its prolonged ageing in wood and bottle.</p>
