This wine is born in the Serra de Montargil, Alto Alentejo region, in the Herdade da Anta de Cima, owned by the Tenreiro family, in a temperate climate, with average annual precipitation of 650mm, and on Mediterranean clay soils. At Anta de Cima the last vineyards were cut in the 50's of the last century and, as a witness, the old wine cellar still resists time.
The argilla are wines of terroir, of select and differentiated profile, obtained from many noble Portuguese grape varieties.
