The Sovibor - Soc. Vinhos de Borba, Lda. Is a Commercial Society by Quotas constituted by public deed, the 16 of December of 1968. It is the result of the merger of two small producers who started their activities many years before 1968 and later created the firms Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto & Filho, Lda., Both with wide traditions in the wine field. Therefore, and as a result of such merger, SOVIBOR is managed by people traditionally linked to the wine business.
<p></p><p>Paulo Laureano began to be known for being one of the most productive consultant oenologists in Alentejo, one of the most sought-after oenologists considered by the new wave of producers who arrived in the Alentejo in the mid-90's. He was also known as Mr. Mouchão when he started to lead the oenology team of this classic Alentejo producer, as well as his classic mustaches that stand out from the crowd</p>

<p></p><p>Teixinha Field Blend Red Wine displays an aroma with evidence of very pure fruit defined by high quality barrel notes. <p></p><p>LouCa, two wines from two people whose starting point was their belief in the potential of the authentic Alentejo.</p> <p>It has a straw-yellow color and a deep, complex and mineral nose. It's a wine of contrasts, textured in the mouth but with enormous freshness and lightness. It has a long finish and excellent ageing potential.</p>
<p>Monte da Peceguina Rosé Wine is perfect as an aperitif but also shines at the table. It pairs beautifully with summer salads, grilled seafood, sushi, Mediterranean dishes, and light pasta. Its freshness and acidity also make it an excellent match for Asian cuisine with mild spices, as well as charcuterie or soft goat cheeses, making it a wine to enjoy on many different occasions.</p> <p> </p> <p></p>
