<p></p><p>Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.</p>
<p></p><p>Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</p>

<p>Monte da Peceguina White Wine is highly versatile at the table, pairing beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, sushi, and fresh salads. It also complements poultry, creamy pasta, and soft cheeses, thanks to its balance of fruit and acidity. The nose reveals ripe red fruits, wild berries, and subtle floral notes, while the palate is smooth and elegant, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, persistent finish. Versatile at the table, it pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses, and has good ageing potential of 5 to 7 years.</p> <p></p> <p></p>
