Plansel Selecta Grande Escolha is an excellent red wine from Alentejo region
Quinta da Plansel are situated about 100km from Lisbon, in the southeastern part of the city of Montemor-o-Novo. They have around 75 hectares of vineyards that are an integral part of the DOC area of Évora
<p></p><p><span>In 1988, A Danish-American couple set out in a sailboat to find a place to start a family and plant a vineyard. They came to Alentejo, and in a land of white varieties, they planted red. And so begins the story of Cortes de Cima Family Vineyards</span></p>

<p></p><p>VINILOURENÇO is based in the Upper Douro, in Poço do Canto village near the City of Meda. It was created with the mission of transforming and revitalizing the production of the vineyards that began to be planted in the 80's by Horacio Lourenço, after returning from Angola. His wine passion led him to develop his heritage</p>

Paio de Gouveia, right at the foot of the Serra da Estrela and within the perimeter of the Natural Park, it currently has a total area of about thirty-five hectares, of which thirteen with old vines and twenty two with newly planted vineyards.<br />The grapes of the Quinta have been vinified since 1992 in the Quinta dos Roques winery, under an innovative mutual cooperation agreement</p>

<p>In Zambujeira do Mar, where the high temperatures of the Alentejo are mitigated by the Atlantic, the concentration typical of inland viticulture is balanced by the freshness and humidity of the sea, leading to ideal maturation. The grapes ripen, thus, in a slow and balanced way, with cool and wet winters, mild summers and the constant presence of the sea winds, creating wines where elegance overrides robustness.</p>
<p></p><p><span>Adega Mayor has 80 hectares of cultivated vineyards in this region of Alentejo, of which 69 are at Herdade das Argamassas and the remaining 11 at Herdade da Godinha. The grape bunches are hand collected and deposited in 15 kg boxes and quickly taken to the wine cellar. There, in a collecting table, a highly qualified team</span></p>
<p>Herdade Aldeia de Cima Reserva White is a remarkable Alentejo wine made from the Alvarinho and Antão Vaz grape varieties. This wine stands out on the nose for its aromas of ripe citrus fruit, orange blossom and white plum, with a subtle touch of minerality and the discreet influence of ageing in wood. On the palate, it reveals a marked unctuousness and great breadth, resulting in a full, round and harmonious profile. It's a wine with good structure, density and excellent balance, which faithfully reflects its terroir.</p>

<p></p><p>LouCa, two wines from two people whose starting point was their belief in the potential of the authentic Alentejo.</p> <p>It has a straw-yellow color and a deep, complex and mineral nose. It's a wine of contrasts, textured in the mouth but with enormous freshness and lightness. It has a long finish and excellent ageing potential.</p>
