Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999. But the «quinta» is much earlier than this and history confirms it as a great land belonging to the Portuguese Royal House, having been identified its first owner in 1725.

<p></p><p>Quinta Nova Reserva Touriga Nacional Red Wine has a deep colour and the dense, fresh scents of the Touriga Nacional awaken our senses. The varietal aromas either send us to the delicacy of violets or show us orange blossom mixed with wild fruits - blueberries and blackberries - in a perfect, harmonious symbiosis.</p> <p>In the mouth, the silky textures stand out where, layer after layer of black fruit, we notice the succulence of tannins well matured by time. The aroma is very elegant, with floral notes of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit (pears), green grapefruit and spices from the barrel, reminiscent of brioche and white pepper. Its activity is the production and marketing of wines from Oporto and Douro under the brands Rozès, São Pedro das Águias, Quinta do Grifo and Terras do Grifo, as well as the distribution of Pommery champagnes. Its heritage includes its vineyards in the Douro Demarcated Region and the aging cellars in the historical center of Vila Nova de Gaia</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.</p><p>It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and close to the town of Peso da Régua.</p><p>It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants.</p>
<p></p><p><span>This wine originates from grapes that have been carefully selected in a manual harvest. After they have been stalked and crushed, the pellicular maceration process continues for 8 hours at 10°C (50°F), maximizing the colour and aroma of the grapes</span></p>
<p></p><p>Poeira Desalinhados Clarete reveals fantastic nose, with blue and black fruit in a very fresh version, all very well integrated by the time in bottle, with dried vegetable in the background promising grip. It confirms the profile in the mouth, fresh and open, lively, with good dryness and lots of flavour, cherry and blackberry, finishing very clean and refreshing. Brilliant!</p>
<p></p> <p><span>Mateus Nicolau de Almeida, is a person of a disconcerting simplicity that does not even seem to carry the nickname of the tradition of a family with many years in the metier of wines. </span><span>In formation, he followed the Father's way, studying in Bordeaux. </span><span>When he returned he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the Muxagat project. </span><span>His wines, just as he exudes authenticity.</span></p>
