<p>Fonseca has belonged to the first rank of Vintage Port producers since the nineteenth century. Its Vintage Ports are noted for their luscious fruitiness which develops great opulence and complexity with age.</p> <p>This Brand was created in 1815 by two families, Fonseca and Monteiro. Then came the Guimaraens family who led the firm for over the century and established its reputation as a 'first growth' Vintage Port house. And finally the Yeatmans and their descendants who steered the company successfully through the second half of the 20th century and into the new millennium.</p> <p>Fonseca Bin 27, Fonseca Vintage, Quinta do Panascal and Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage are their most famous Port wines</p>
<p>Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience</p>

<p>Casa Ermelinda freitas is a wine brand recognized by the world for its magnificent wines. From its very beginnings, made the quality of its vineyards and wines a top priority. When the company first started, wines were produced and sold wholesale and unbranded. It was the current management that decided to take on the challenge that is involved in creating an own brand wine. 1997 was the year of the company's new beginning in wine making, with red wine "Terras do Po tinto", being the first to be produced and bottled on the premises of the Ermelinda Freitas winery</p>
<p>The wine that gave origin to this winery was the "Druida", back in 2012, and all the wines that followed are true to its original idea. The Druida were wise men of Celtic origin who sought to attain spiritual balance throught nature's equilibrium. <br />Druida and Vidente wines are just that, a pursuit for balance with the utmost respect for nature. This is a personal project driven by passion for wines, where the grapes are the real stars and winemaking is of minimal intervention.
