Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro Preto and Jaen are the grape varieties presents in this wine
The Quinta do Cerrado, with about 30 hectares, is part of the Dão Wine Route. The vineyards were planted with the main grape varieties of the Dão Region

In Portugal, IDEALDRINKS has a wide range of properties spread across several Portuguese wine regions, namely Bairrada, Dão and Vinhos Verdes.High quality wines, distillates and olive oils are created here from the best fruits, with the support of the latest technology and the precious collaboration of a team that brings together some of the most prestigious specialists in the oenology, distillery and olive growing sector

The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda

Located between Nabais and S. Paio de Gouveia, right at the foot of the Serra da Estrela and within the perimeter of the Natural Park, it currently has a total area of about thirty-five hectares, of which thirteen with old vines and twenty two with newly planted vineyards.
The grapes of the Quinta have been vinified since 1992 in the Quinta dos Roques winery, under an innovative mutual cooperation agreement

Located between Mangualde and Nelas, in place of Abrunhosa do Mato, Quinta dos Roques is well the example of the spirit with which the new Dão is being built. From the early Roques, more than a century ago, the vine and wine are part of the daily life of this family

In the glass, A Descoberta Tinto presents a deep ruby color and aromas of fresh red berries, cherry, and light floral notes. On the palate, it is elegant, smooth, and well-balanced, with soft tannins and a clean, persistent finish. This wine is both easy to enjoy and refined, making it a versatile choice for pairing with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or hard cheeses. It's a great introduction to the charm and complexity of Dão wines
