Soalheiro Pé Franco has a floral and intense aroma, different from what is usual in a wine made from the Alvarinho grape variety. It is persistent in the mouth, due to the contact with the skins during fermentation, which gives it more body and a slight astringency.
It goes well with strong dishes, particularly red meats and oven roasts.
Soalheiro is the first Alvarinho brand in Melgaço (the northern point of Portugal) and one of the first portuguese producers of Alvarinho
