We first tried this in a restaurant on a visit to Portugal and have imported 3 x 12 boxes since. Not the most expensive, but we feel it's great value for the money and is suitable for drinking with a meal or on it's own.

But where have those green bottles gone ? I like the frizzante of Mateus, mostly absent from the French equivalents. Not being able to resist the temptation to compare, also less dry than Proven?ial style ros?. But a very pleasant and nostalgic change, delightful for summer.
