We know this wine and like it a lot

Thought I'd try this selection, but it is a bit less smooth that I expect from Cabriz so I won't choose it again

Excellent wine, fully aromatic, dark berries, chocolate, fills the mouth very pleasantly.

We came across this on a trip to Portugal in 2019 and since ordered a couple of 12 x boxes since. Very palatable, not too sweet, great value.

But where have those green bottles gone ? I like the frizzante of Mateus, mostly absent from the French equivalents. Not being able to resist the temptation to compare, also less dry than Proven?ial style ros?. But a very pleasant and nostalgic change, delightful for summer.

We first tried this in a restaurant on a visit to Portugal and have imported 3 x 12 boxes since. Not the most expensive, but we feel it's great value for the money and is suitable for drinking with a meal or on it's own.

Delicious red with strong body and fruity taste. Smooth.
