Casa Ermelinda freitas is a wine brand recognized by the world for its magnificent wines. From its very beginnings, made the quality of its vineyards and wines a top priority. When the company first started, wines were produced and sold wholesale and unbranded. It was the current management that decided to take on the challenge that is involved in creating an own brand wine. 1997 was the year of the company's new beginning in wine making, with red wine "Terras do Po tinto", being the first to be produced and bottled on the premises of the Ermelinda Freitas winery
<p></p><p>Barros wines are a celebration of Portuguese talent. They express a talent which is very Portuguese, enhanced by experience and knowledge. They were created in the beginning of the 20th century, in 1913, and soon became a reference brand to Port wine consumers</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The wines of Solar dos Lobos are the result of a triple selection of clusters that only came from our 75 ha of vineyard. The first selection starts near to the painter stage, where a thinning of bunches is made, in order to select just those which will allow to obtain the maximum quality. The second selection takes place during the harvest, when workers are alerted to cut just the grapes which are in perfect sanitary condidition. The third selection is made during the winery grape entry as the recolt is discharged from 20 kg boxes to the mat of choice, where 2 to 4 people remove all the leaves, branches and the clusters which show no quality: being too green or too mature.</p>
<p>Diálogo is a pleasant, easy drinking red wine, but with complexity, mineral notes and great depth, found in the classic Douro wines. It is produced from vineyards located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, being the main varieties, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca. Its freshness and youth well integrated with soft tannins, make this wine, full of Douro character, a very pleasant wine to drink. The illustration of Luís Afonso tells stories on the labels of Diálogo since its very first edition</p>
<p>In order to make Diálogo white wine a light, fresh but complex wine, vinification takes place in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels. The illustrations on the label, with different stories on the various editions, reinforce the relaxed character of this wine</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Porca de Murça is Douro’s leading brand, having celebrated 85 years of existence in 2013, and becoming one of Portugal’s oldest wine brands. The brand originated from a folktale from the small village of Vila de Murça, in the Douro Valley</p>

<p></p><p>Located between two natural reserves, from the Estuary of the Tagus to the Northwest and the Sado to the southwest, the west of the Arrábida and the source of Barros Alentejanos, the region of Pegões presents privileged soil and climatic conditions.<br />With a climate of Mediterranean influence and located in the flat soil spot called "Pliocénio de Pegões", characterized by poor sandy soil formed over millions of years by the deposition of the sands transported by the Tejo and Sado rivers, it produces wines with unique characteristics, own of a terroir that only in Pegões exists.</p>
<p></p><p>The vineyards of Herdade de Pegos Claros have about 40 hectares and are integrated in a total area of about 540 hectares whose occupation is national and international references of what was best produced as DOC Palmela</p>
