Moscatel Setúbal ‘Excellent’ is the result of intense work over more than 100 years, spread between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard has been monitored and pampered for decades so that the yields did not exceed 2500 litres/ha. At the winery, a ‘proper’ winemaking process was devised for this product, different from the usual. The final ageing takes place in a variety of wooden barrels, where they will concentrate for decades.
