    This is a very old Madeira wine, that belongs to the rare fortified wines of great exclusivity, classified as "FRASQUEIRA" that was part of the wine collection of the family that own this wine company. It is made from a recommended grape variety in years when the quality is high and the harvest is excellent, using grapes from the best vines of Madeira Island

    The founders of D’Oliveiras were visionaries that saw the true value of Madeira Wine: its ability to improve over time. Therefore they started storing as much Madeira Wine as possible, letting it slowly mature inside the barrels for future generations to be able to enjoy it further. For that reason, D’Oliveiras is the only Madeira Wine company that owns Madeira Wine bottles and Barrels from as far as the 1850’s that can still be commercially purchased.

For this lot we select wines from our warehouses, whose stable temperatures throughout the year originated this wine with balanced sugar levels and acidity.</p>
