<p>Rubus wines represent another facet of Rui Roboredo Madeira's work, albeit with a concept and market positioning slightly different from his more well-known ranges, such as Beyra or Castello d'Alba. <br /><br />While the Beyra brand focuses exclusively on the extreme identity of the Beira Interior and altitude, the Rubus project often arises associated with a philosophy of signature wines with a very gastronomic profile, elegant and with a strong connection to the Portuguese winemaking tradition, exploring the potential of different terroirs and old vines. The name Rubus makes a scientific and poetic allusion to the botanical genus of blackberries and wild fruits (Rubus), which are very common and desired aromatic descriptors in high-quality red wines.</p>

The viticulture is made in total respect for the environment, without chemical fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides.
