    Thirty years ago, one branch of the Macedo Pinto family has taken over Quinta do Espinho, driving it to the production of top class red wine in the Douro

    Vinification is made in the traditional “lagar” of granite with controlled temperature at 25º. The malolactic fermentation occurred in stainless tank just after alcoholic fermentation

    After fermentation the wine is taken in inox tank. Partially aged infrench oak barrels
