With the goal to produce the best Douro wines, the estate has 7.5 hectares of old vineyards and 8.5 hectares planted in 2010</span></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous “Quintas” in the Douro Valley”. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta wines were born in one small plot of the terraces of Quinta de São Luiz. From the vines that have been planted more than 50 years ago, small yield. These wines combine a long ageing period in barrel and the expertise of the winemaker into complex and elegant wines, with an engaging structure.</p>
<p></p><p class="hiddeh1">Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999.
