Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999. But the «quinta» is much earlier than this and history confirms it as a great land belonging to the Portuguese Royal House, having been identified its first owner in 1725.

<p></p><p>Quinta Nova Reserva Touriga Nacional Red Wine has a deep colour and the dense, fresh scents of the Touriga Nacional awaken our senses. The varietal aromas either send us to the delicacy of violets or show us orange blossom mixed with wild fruits - blueberries and blackberries - in a perfect, harmonious symbiosis.</p> <p>In the mouth, the silky textures stand out where, layer after layer of black fruit, we notice the succulence of tannins well matured by time. Then there's the nerve of the schist geology and the climate where the intense sun rips through the dewy dawns.</p> <p>Touriga Nacional also speaks to us of the freshness and minerality of wet stone, where we are lulled by the sensations of fruit and white spice in a long and precise farewell.</p>
