It is leader in the production of Port Tawny Colheita wines, including white port, Kopke has a remarkable range of special category Ports, also producing excellent DOC Douro wines</p>
<p></p><p>With about 600ha, spread over 5 farms, the Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of D.O.C. Douro and olive oils D.O.P. Trás-os-Montes.<br />It is in the Upper Douro sub-region, between Vila Flor, Torre de Moncorvo and Foz Côa that the whole wine and olive production project is developed</p>
<p></p><p><span>Quinta de S. José is a family project that began in early 1999 by the will of the João’s father, Ruy Brito e Cunha, due to the excellent location of the houses in the Quinta, practically on the side of the river.</span></p>
<p></p><p>White wine obtained from grapes of the Sauvignon Blanc variety. Refreshing, with good aromatic intensity, marked by tropical notes of passion fruit and some vegetable nuances, with excellent acidity.</p>
<p>Produced from a blend of Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio. The grapes come from Provesende (20%) and the Murça area (80%)</p> <p>Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 20 days at a temperature of 15ºC (70% of the blend). Fermentation in new 500-litre French oak casks (30% of the blend)Ageing: 30% of the blend is aged for 8 months in the 500-litre casks.</p>
