Aroma of ripe red fruits, with slight balsamic notes of well integrated oak wood. Good volume in the mouth, good acidity. Persistent and fresh finish.
Located in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da Deserta has its vineyards rooted between the banks of the river Tavora and the river Douro, in schistose soils. The combination of very hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters results in low yields but with high quality grapes.
