<p></p><p><span>Quinta de S. José is a family project that began in early 1999 by the will of the João’s father, Ruy Brito e Cunha, due to the excellent location of the houses in the Quinta, practically on the side of the river.</span></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta wines were born in one small plot of the terraces of Quinta de São Luiz. From the vines that have been planted more than 50 years ago, small yield. These wines combine a long ageing period in barrel and the expertise of the winemaker into complex and elegant wines, with an engaging structure.</p>
<p>Vinha do Norte Red Wine shows excellent intensity and aromatic complexity, with balsamic notes, spice, cistus and wild fruit from the Douro. All in perfect harmony, resulting in a unique blend of great freshness, complexity and aromatic depth. On the palate it starts off exuberant and finishes elegant, complex and very persistent.</p>
